I’ve spent most of my life as an autobody technician, working with color, paying close attention to detail, and learning just how much can be done with your own two hands. Gardening and spending my free time outdoors have both taught me much as well- patience, curiosity, a deep appreciation for the wonders of the natural world, and that what you nurture will grow.
My inspiration tends to wander in freely, alongside intense curiosity. Rootbound is my way of honoring the creative pull I feel regularly, by breathing life into new ideas. I work with natural elements and any mediums that call to me, letting each piece take shape in its own time.
More than anything, I hope my work sparks a little creativity in others and reminds them that making is its own kind of magic.
