Welcome to Rootbound. By using this website or placing an order, you agree to the terms below. Please read them carefully.
1. General Information
All items in this shop are handmade, and many are one-of-a-kind. Natural variations in color, texture, and materials are normal and part of the character of each piece.
2. Ordering
When you place an order, you agree that:
• You are providing accurate shipping and contact information.
• You have reviewed item descriptions, photos, and sizing details before purchasing.
• You understand processing time may vary depending on the piece.
Rootbound reserves the right to cancel or refuse orders in cases of suspected fraud or misuse.
3. Pricing & Payments
All prices are listed in USD.
Payments are processed securely through Big Cartel’s approved processors (such as Stripe, PayPal, or Apple Pay).
I do not store or have access to your full payment information.
Prices may change at any time, but changes will not affect orders already placed.
4. Shipping
• Orders ship to the address provided at checkout.
• Delivery times are estimates and not guaranteed.
• Once a package is scanned in by USPS, Rootbound is not responsible for delays or issues caused by the carrier.
• I do not currently ship internationally.
5. Returns, Exchanges & Cancellations
Because each item is handmade, returns and exchanges are not accepted unless the item arrives damaged.
• Damage claims must be sent within 3 days of delivery with photos of the item and packaging. To file a claim with USPS, you will need to keep your packaging and send it back to me with the item. I will provide a shipping label and your return will be processed when the claim is approved by the post office.
• Orders can be canceled within 12 hours if work has not begun.
• Custom orders cannot be canceled once materials have been purchased or work has started.
6. Custom Orders
For custom pieces:
• A non-refundable deposit may be required.
• I will provide updates during the creation process.
• Final approval is required before shipping.
• Custom pieces may not be eligible for cancellation, refunds, or changes once production begins.
7. Intellectual Property
All product images, descriptions, designs, and artwork on this site are the property of Rootbound.
They may not be copied, reproduced, or used without written permission.
8. Limitation of Liability
By purchasing from this shop, you agree that Rootbound is not liable for:
• Allergic reactions or sensitivities to metals or materials
• Damage caused by improper use or care
• Lost or stolen packages marked as “delivered”
• Normal wear, oxidation, or patina of natural metals such as copper or bronze
9. Website Use
You agree not to:
• Use this site for unlawful purposes
• Attempt to disrupt or tamper with the site
• Reproduce or misuse any part of the website’s content

These Terms & Conditions may be updated occasionally.
Any changes will be posted with a revised “Last Updated” date.
